
This morning’s comb progress. For comparison, look at May 28: the tiny solo comb on the far right in that shot (notice the edge of the knot) has grown considerably in this one.
After a beautiful morning, the day’s gone blustery and grey. Rita Runningwater has been busy moving the little frog-eye sprinkler along the west berm, deep watering the tall amur maple, lilacs, and chokecherry patch. I hate to tear myself away from the garden even for yoga class and dinner with friends.
